Arrive Community Development is a Detroit-based nonprofit whose mission is revitalize communities and ensure they remain affordable for long-term residents.

We believe that the more involved residents are in our projects, the more successful those projects will be.

A safe, accessible, and affordable home is critical for economic, social, and physical wellness.

Affordable housing development can drive further revitalization by attracting neighborhood shops and services.
Arrive@Butzel is a new, mixed-use building featuring 48 apartments that are 100% affordable to low- and moderate-income families. It will feature 5 retail spaces that are subsidized for Detroit-based businesses.
The project is scheduled to break ground in 2027 and be completed in late 2028.
GVAIC is a home repair program for homeowners aged 55+ in the Greater Villages neighborhoods of Detroit. These home improvements will help ensure that older adult residents – including many who have lived in the neighborhood for decades – can continue to live affordably and comfortably in their own homes while being active members of the community.
The program is scheduled to launch in Summer 2026. Screening applications will be accepted beginning in April – check back here for more information.
Arrive has partnered with organizations and businesses in Islandview and the Greater Villages to improve access to fresh and healthy foods, educational services, and career readiness programming. We are founding members of the Mack Career Center, which provides resume writing assistance, interview prep, headshots, career assessments, and more.
